Michael W. Nydegger provides federal income tax advice focused in international, individual, corporate and partnership tax planning and controversy, including representation before the Internal Revenue Service.
Mr. Nydegger advises clients in planning tax-efficient transactions, financial products and business organization structures, as well as in navigating anti-deferral provisions, the U.S. transfer pricing regime and tax implications of foreign investment in the United States. His practice also includes assisting clients with all aspects of dispute resolution between taxpayers and the Internal Revenue Service, including requests for private rulings, responses to preliminary information requests, assistance with the audit process, IRS protests and appeals.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Nydegger was involved in both accounting management and tax strategy, having served as the corporate controller of a regional general contracting firm and regional accounting manager for a national general contractor.
