Michelle L. Young

Michelle Young works on a variety of investigatory and litigation matters in connection with Baker Hostetler’s appointment as counsel to the SIPA Trustee in the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Services LLC. Most notably, Ms. Young is a member of the internal Discovery Team, which oversees all discovery issues arising out of the liquidation. Prior to joining Baker Hostetler, Ms. Young worked for a Big 4 accounting firm as a tax accountant, where she worked on a variety of tax compliance and consulting matters for corporate clients. While attending law school, Ms. Young was a member of the Fordham Law School Moot Court Team and served as Assistant Editor of the I. Maurice Wormser Moot Court Competition. Ms. Young also served as a student attorney in the Samuelson-Glushko Intellectual Property and Information Law Clinic, which assists people and organizations with limited resources in handling copyright, trademark, information law and privacy issues.
