Morgan Hotzel joined Baker Hostetler in September 2009. Ms. Hotzel assists clients in a variety of business and corporate matters, most notably in the areas of energy transactions and corporate and securities work.
Ms. Hotzel has assisted in the representation of clients in both the public and private arenas on a variety of different matters. Her involvement in energy transactions ranges from debt and equity offerings to complex mergers and acquisitions.
During law school, Ms. Hotzel served as an intern for the Honorable Jeff Bohm, United States Bankruptcy Judge, Southern District of Texas. She was an active member of the University of Houston Law Center Moot Court Team and was on the regional championship team for the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition.
Ms. Hotzel is a member of the American Bar Association and the Texas Young Lawyers’ Association.
