Cleveland partner Christina Moser was invited to address the Ohio State Bar Association's (OSBA) 2009 Annual Convention, held May 13-15, 2009, in Cleveland.
Moser was a speaker for the seminar sponsored by the OSBA's Intellectual Property Section, entitled "Intellectual Property and the Internet—Issues, Tools, and Challenges." In addition to Moser, other speakers for the seminar included: Susan E. Clady, Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Arnoff LLP; Liza J.M. Heinig, Tarolli Sundheim Covell & Tummino LLP; and Alan J. Ross, Law Offices of Alan J. Ross.
Moser's presentation, "All's Fair in Love, War, and Online? Content Use and Copyright Fair Use on the Internet," explored how to protect online content, what to do when a client copies or wants to copy content from a website, and how to manage material submitted by others for use on a client's website.
