Muldowney Participates in Florida A&M Panel on Workplace Harassment

Orlando partner Pat Muldowney recently participated in a panel on workplace harassment issues at Florida A&M University College of Law. Muldowney addressed various issues that he confronts in advising and representing management clients with respect to sexual and other workplace harassment.

The discussion ranged from assisting clients in putting in place proper policies and procedures before a complaint is made through defending harassment lawsuits. The panel, which was part of the school's "Women and the Law" seminar, also featured a local employee-side attorney and a private investigator who specializes in investigating sexual harassment issues.

Florida A&M University has the largest single historically black university campus in the United States in terms of enrollment, and it is the number one grantor of baccalaureate degrees to African Americans. The College of Law, which is located in downtown Orlando, opened to students in 2002 and recently gained full accreditation from the ABA.
