BakerHostetler announced that 174 of its attorneys were named to the 2012 Super Lawyers list, and 55 attorneys were named to the 2012 Rising Stars list. Collectively, 44 attorneys are new to the lists this year.
Super Lawyers is a comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys representing a wide range of practice areas, firm sizes and geographic locations. The 2012 lists are based on surveys of thousands of lawyers, and only the top five percent of lawyers, from nearly 70 practice areas, are named to the Super Lawyers list. To be named a Rising Star is a distinction given only to the top 2.5 percent of lawyers under the age of 40 or those who have been practicing law for 10 years or less.
In addition to appearing on the overall list, Partners Donna Clark and Susan Feigin Harris were named to the Top 50 Women Texas Super Lawyers list. Harris was also named a Top 100 Houston Metro Super Lawyer. David Sheehan was selected as a Top 100 New York Metro Super Lawyer and Daniel Warren was selected as a Top 50 Cleveland Metro Super Lawyer.
