Congratulations to the 16 attorneys in Baker Hostetler’s Houston office and the 12 attorneys in the firm’s New York office who have been named as “Super Lawyers” for 2010.
These attorneys join the 66 attorneys from the firm’s Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Costa Mesa, Denver, Los Angeles, Orlando and Washington, D.C., offices who were named to 2010 “Super Lawyers” lists earlier this year.
“Super Lawyers” is a comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys representing a wide range of practice areas, firm sizes and geographic locations. The selections for Super Lawyers publications are made by Law & Politics, a division of Key Professional Media, Inc., of Minneapolis.
Each year, Law & Politics undertakes a rigorous multi-phase selection process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by Law & Politics’ attorney-led research staff on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, and a good-standing and disciplinary check.
The 2010 lists are based on surveys of thousands of lawyers, and only the top five percent of lawyers, from nearly 70 practice areas, are named to the “Super Lawyers” list.
In addition to appearing on the overall list, Houston partners Donna Clark, Tom Kruse and Scott McBride were selected for the Top 100 Houston Texas Super Lawyers 2010 list, and Donna was also named to the Top 50 Women Texas Super Lawyers 2010 list.
