News / July 30, 2012

IP Litigation Partner Lawrence Sung will speak at the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) conference, “Practical Patent Prosecution Training for New Lawyers,” in Alexandria, VA, on August 23.

Commonly known as the AIPLA Boot Camp, the two-day seminar is tailored for new practitioners (i.e., those having about 0-2 years of experience), or others who want to learn the basics of patent application preparation and prosecution. This comprehensive CLE-accredited seminar includes instructional sessions and hands-on claim drafting workshops taught by skilled and experienced private and corporate practitioners. United States Patent & Trademark Office representatives are also invited.

Sung will present on “Biotechnology and Chemical Claim Drafting,” which is a subject he has addressed at the Boot Camp each year for the past 10 years.
