CHICAGO, IL—January 11, 2011—Baker Hostetler announced today that Adam Skilken has joined the firm’s Chicago office as a Partner in its Business Group. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate counseling. Prior to joining Baker Hostetler Skilken spent three years with Kaye Scholer.
Skilken brings substantial experience representing private equity clients in acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and strategic investments. He has represented both publicly traded and privately held companies in transactions across a range of industries. Skilken’s practice has included a number of multinational transactions, including the representation of domestic companies investing internationally, as well as foreign companies investing in the U.S.
