Baker Hostetler’s Growth Continues in New York: Regina L. Griffin and Jorian L. Rose Join Business Group

NEW YORK, NY, June 2, 2011—Baker Hostetler announced today that Regina L. Griffin and Jorian L. Rose have joined the firm in its New York office. They join the firm as Partners in the Business Group focusing on Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Creditors’ Rights. Griffin was previously Special Counsel at Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf LLP where she focused on commercial and bankruptcy litigation. Rose was previously a Partner at Venable LLP and, prior to that, served as a Managing Director at Macquarie Capital (USA), Inc.

Griffin represents trustees and creditors in connection with complex commercial litigation arising out of corporate insolvencies. Her experience includes representing Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Trustees in commercial litigation, avoidance actions and claims of fraud against acquiring companies. Griffin holds her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law.

Rose brings an extensive background representing clients in distressed and non-distressed transactions, as well as traditional Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters. His experience includes representing creditors, debtors and lenders in complex restructurings and bankruptcies as well as mergers and acquisitions. He has represented clients in a variety of industries such as aerospace and defense, automotive, energy, healthcare, hospitality, leasing, mortgage lending/servicing, real estate, retail and senior living. Rose received his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law.
