On October 4, 2010, Washington, D.C., partner Hilary S. Cairnie will be presenting “The Pitfalls of Government Contracting” to the Houston Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors. The event will be held at the Houston Club, 811 Rusk Avenue, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
The session will educate internal auditors on the risks commonly encountered in government contracting so they can develop and execute more comprehensive audit plans. The presentation will cover local, state and federal government contracts, as well as compliance and enforcement mechanisms.
