Baker Hostetler Columbus associate Mark Hatcher was recently named the Young Alumnus of the Year by Capital University Law School. The award recognizes a Capital University Law School JD graduate born after July 1, 1970, who has made significant achievements in his or her legal occupation and has made notable contributions to the legal profession and community. Hatcher will be honored at the Law School’s 2011 Alumni Recognition Luncheon on Friday, April 29 in Columbus.
“Our Alumni Recognition Luncheon celebrates Capital University Law School and all of its outstanding alumni for their commitment to service, the legal profession and our Law School and students,” said Dean Rich Simpson. More than 300 alumni are expected to return for the day’s festivities.
Hatcher earned an LL.M., Business and Taxation, with a concentration in Corporate Governance and Finance, and his J.D., cum laude, from Capital in 2006.
