Carney Moderates ABA Criminal Justice Section, White Collar Committee, Mid-Atlantic Region Spring Event

John J. Carney, co-leader of the firm’s national White Collar Defense and Corporate Investigations Team, moderated the Securities Fraud Enforcement Panel at the ABA Mid-Atlantic Spring Conference on March 9th. The panel, which included SEC and DOJ officials, explored the impact of the Dodd-Frank whistleblower provisions on corporations and best practices for chief compliance officers and general counsels. Panelists discussed how the changing legal landscape affects compliance, investigations and prosecutions.
