Columbus associate Mark Hatcher has been selected as the recipient of the 2010 Emerging Leader Award by the John Mercer Langston Bar Association (JMLBA), the Columbus affiliate of the National Bar Association.
This Award is given to an individual who has been licensed in Ohio for only a few years and has made significant contributions to the community, as a whole, through legal work and volunteer service. The honor will be bestowed on Mr. Hatcher, who serves as Vice-President of the JMLBA, at the organization's annual "Barristers Salute," to be held on May 27, 2010.
Mr. Hatcher has served on the boards of several charitable organizations and currently serves as a member of the Columbus Community Clinical Oncology Program Institutional Review Board, the Board of Trustees of the South Central Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council (formerly SCOMBC) and the Board of Directors of Isabelle Ridgway Care Center, Inc. He also serves on the Loan Review Committee for Community Capital Development Corporation.
