Houston Partner to Address Attendees of Symposium on Oil Spill Issues

Houston partner W. John English, Jr., will speak at the University of Houston's oil spill symposium on September 23. English will present "Legal Issues and the Drilling Moratorium" during the day-long, interdisciplinary roundtable event.

Sponsored by the UH Center for Public History and the newly formed UH Centers for Energy Management and Policy, the symposium will address key issues related to the oil spill, including response, environmental impact and government regulation.

At Baker Hostetler, English focuses his practice on energy and environmental matters, especially those that affect the sale and leasing of producing oil and gas properties, commercial real estate, industrial properties, refineries and manufacturing plants.
