Business associate Stephen Olson and litigation associate Carlos Ramos-Mrosovsky have been invited to participate on a panel July 14, 2011, in Washington, D.C., for “Shining a Light on Petroleum Agreements—Disclosure and Monitoring in Action,” an event co-sponsored by Oxfam America and World Bank Institute.
Their discussion will focus on the transactional/contractual and legislative aspects of petroleum exploration, development and production as it pertains to foreign oil companies and developing nations. The invite is a result of a project related to offshore oil operations in Ghana Olson and Ramos-Mrosovsky are currently working on for Oxfam.
