Powers Appointed to CCH Securities Regulation Advisory Board

Marc D. Powers, national leader of the firm’s Securities Litigation and Regulatory Enforcement practice, has been appointed to a two-year term on the CCH Securities Regulation Advisory Board. Powers’ term commences January 1, 2011. According to its charter, the board comprises eight law firm attorneys, two corporate counsels, one former SEC official and one academic. Invitations to participate on the board are extended to individuals who have distinguished themselves as leading authorities in the area of securities law and/or corporate governance.

CCH is a division of Wolters Kluwer, which publishes the Federal Securities Law Reporter. The board advises and supports Wolters Kluwer by serving as a sounding board on regulatory and industry trends and developments, and advising on ways to serve the research needs of securities lawyers.
