Baker Hostetler’s Growth Continues in Costa Mesa: R. Scott Feldmann Joins Intellectual Property Group

Costa Mesa, CA, February 2, 2012—Baker Hostetler announced today that R. Scott Feldmann has joined the firm's Intellectual Property Group as a Partner in its Costa Mesa office. He comes to Baker Hostetler from Crowell & Moring LLP.

Feldmann focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, especially applied to software, computers, and the Internet. He has tried and won patent and commercial dispute cases and has obtained temporary restraining orders in both federal and state court on matters involving copyright infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, trademark infringement, trade libel, breach of fiduciary duty and unfair competition.

Prior to entering the legal profession, Feldmann served as a management consultant with A. T. Kearney, Inc., and was a Captain in the U.S. Air Force, where he was a test director of electronic warfare and space programs. During this time he was awarded the Commendation Medal and two Achievement Medals.
