Ramos-Mrosovsky Appointed Vice-Chair of ABA Committee

Washington, D.C., associate Carlos Ramos-Mrosovsky has been appointed Vice-Chair of the Export Controls and Economic Sanctions Committee of the American Bar Association's Section of International Law for the term running from August 10, 2010 to August 9, 2011. The firm’s export control and sanctions practice ranges from day-to-day advice on commodity jurisdiction requests and export licenses, to advocacy before the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security, the State Department’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Controls, and numerous other federal agencies.

The ABA Section of International Law, which has more than 20,000 members in 90 countries, is the leader in the development of policy in the international arena, the promotion of the rule of law, and the education of international law practitioners.
