Baker Hostetler New York partner, S. Jeanine Conley, was acknowledged during the Student Government Association of Long Island University’s Tribute to Excellence award ceremony, a Black History Month program honoring the accomplishments of the current generation of successful local African American leaders in various fields, such as education, law, business and the arts. The event took place February 24, 2011, at the Kumble Theater of Performing Arts in Brooklyn, New York.
A member of the firm’s Litigation Group, Conley focuses her practice in the areas of white collar and corporate criminal matters, employment litigation and general commercial litigation. She has represented clients in formal and informal investigations by the New York State Attorney General’s Office, the United States Department of Justice and the United States Attorney’s Office.
Conley currently serves as President of the Association of Black Women Attorneys, is the New York City Bar delegate to the New York State Bar House of Delegates and is a member of Legal Momentum’s Board of Advisors. She is a member of the Committee on Minorities in the Profession of the New York City Bar, the Commercial and Federal Litigation Section of the New York State Bar, the National Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
