CHICAGO, IL – June 23, 2010 – Baker Hostetler announced today that Tara Goff Kamradt has joined the firm as a Partner in its Business Group and will be a member of its Healthcare Industry team. Ms. Kamradt, who was most recently a Partner with Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, will be resident in the firm’s Chicago office.
Ms. Kamradt has significant experience in advising companies in the healthcare industry, including dialysis businesses, sleep centers, home health businesses and physician practices, in structuring joint venture relationships, transactions and commercial arrangements with third parties. She also represents companies in a variety of industries in general corporate and transactional matters, including structuring and negotiating mergers and acquisitions and addressing day-to-day legal issues. Ms. Kamradt also has significant experience representing closely-held businesses in matters related to formation, growth, succession planning and preparation for sale or other liquidation events.
In addition, Ms. Kamradt is very active in diversity and gender initiatives on a local and national level, and is a co-founder and incoming President of the Chicago Coalition of Women's Initiatives in Law Firms, a first of its kind organization consisting of more than 30 law firms dedicated to the advancement of women in the profession.
