Paula F. Seger

Paula F. Seger concentrates her practice on the resolution of employment-related disputes. She has assisted employers in a wide range of employment law matters, including employment discrimination claims, sexual harassment issues, wage and hour disputes, Family and Medical Leave Act compliance and employee termination and reduction in force issues. Mrs. Seger has successfully defended employers in numerous proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other federal and state labor and employment agencies.

Mrs. Seger works with employers in developing employment risk management programs, including management training, preparation of personnel policies and procedures, wage and hour compliance assessments, and Family Medical Leave Act administration. She worked on-site for an eight-month period at a large multinational corporation, assisting in-house counsel and counseling human resources professionals on a wide range of labor and employment matters.

Mrs. Seger also has counseled employers throughout all stages of union representation proceedings, including handling National Labor Relations Board matters.

Mrs. Seger is a frequent speaker on a wide variety of employment-related topics. Recent presentations include the interplay among the FMLA, ADA and workers’ compensation, harassment prevention, and the pre-employment process.
