Pramila A. Kamath

Pramila Kamath works on a variety of litigation matters, including matters involving intellectual property and securities law. As part of her practice, Pramila supports the firm in its role as counsel to the court-appointed Trustee under SIPA in the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kamath worked at a general practice firm in Cincinnati, where she practiced in the business litigation group. Her experience includes:

• Drafting a persuasive argument to an arbitration panel that resulted in favorable valuation of the client’s business.
• Advising a client and negotiating a settlement agreement that reduced individual tax liability.
• Assisting a large corporate client with commercial real estate development and enforcement of lease agreements.

While in law school, Ms. Kamath was the Executive Editor of the University of Cincinnati Law Review and Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.

Ms Kamath is a member of the Cincinnati and Ohio State Bar Associations. Additionally, she is a member of Class 6 of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s C-Change leadership development program and a volunteer for the charitable giving committee of The Freestore Foodbank.
