Washington, D.C., associate Carlos Ramos-Mrosovsky has been invited to address the American Bar Association Section of International Law's "Pathways to Employment in International Law" program, to be held October 21, 2009, at Georgetown University Law Center.
Mr. Ramos-Mrosovsky and his fellow panelists, Omar Award of CHF International and Maha Jweied of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, will address the possible career options for law student born outside the United States, discussing their own experiences, including the challenges and successes each has met in reaching their own practice and career objectives. The attendees will also learn about international internship opportunities and receive practical advice on how to network with legal experts from around the world, practice in other legal systems and cultures, becoming active in international organizations and societies, and how to develop legal and interpersonal skills.
