Robb Beckerlegge has a varied practice focusing on commercial disputes, as well as the preservation and enforcement of trademark rights for a number of internationally known brand owners.
Robb was a member of the team that represented a large telecommunications provider in a false advertising dispute with its competitors. He has also represented a partner in a partnership dispute related to the activities of a foreign television station. Robb is currently a member of the Baker Hostetler team assisting the SIPA trustee with the investigation and liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC.
When not representing parties in general commercial matters, Robb regularly appears in court on behalf of brand owners’ efforts to combat trademark counterfeiting. He is a member of the International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition’s Internet subcommittee on search engines.
While in law school, Robb was the student editor-in-chief of the New York Litigator, the journal of the federal and commercial litigation section of the New York State Bar Association.
Robb is co-chair of the firm’s New York office mentor committee, which provides guidance and support for junior associates.
