Robert W. Thielhelm, Jr., is a civil trial lawyer who practices in the commercial litigation area and has successfully served as lead counsel in both trial and appellate proceedings.
Mr. Thielhelm has experience representing clients in a variety of industries, including real estate, construction and development, pharmaceutical supply, vacation ownership, power generation, transportation, commercial leasing, security, lending, cruise line and theme park.
Mr. Thielhelm’s practice involves representing clients in all manner of business tort litigation, contract actions, commercial fraud, mechanic’s lien and mortgage foreclosures, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, tortious interference and deceptive and unfair trade practices claims. Mr. Thielhelm has also represented clients in partnership disputes, shareholder derivative actions, patent and trademark infringement actions and constitutional/local government cases in both state and federal court.
In addition to his trial practice, Mr. Thielhelm has extensive experience representing clients in all types of appellate proceedings, including matters before the United States Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Florida Supreme Court.
Mr. Thielhelm is a member of the American, Florida and Orange County Bar Associations. He is the immediate past president of the Federal Bar Association, Orlando Chapter. Mr. Thielhelm has also served as Board Chair for A Gift For Teaching, a local nonprofit organization focusing on education, and currently serves on its board.
