Sammantha Clegg works on a variety of litigation matters in connection with Baker Hostetler’s role as counsel to the court-appointed Trustee under SIPA in the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC.
Ms. Clegg was a summer associate at Winston & Strawn LLP, where she worked on a variety of labor and employment and litigation matters. Prior to joining Baker Hostetler, Ms. Clegg was a legal secondee at Luxottica Group, where she assisted in-house counsel on employment discrimination claims.
While attending law school, Ms. Clegg served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Kiyo A. Matsumoto of the Eastern District of New York. Ms. Clegg was also a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal. She was also in the Federal Litigation Clinic for a year, where she represented clients in federal criminal cases, including charges of wire fraud and possession of drugs with intent to sell.
Ms. Clegg is a member of the American and New York State Bar Associations, as well as the New York County Lawyers Association.
