Stanley Ball practices in the area of complex commercial litigation, criminal defense and bankruptcy. He has experience representing clients on a broad range of matters, including avoidance and fraudulent transfer actions, corporate fiduciary litigation, tort actions and breach of contract claims. Mr. Ball also has experience advising clients on corporate governance and preparing transaction documents.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Stanley has worked for ING Financial Advisers where he was responsible for the daily management of $80 million in retirement assets. Aside from his work at ING, Stanley has experience raising funds for non-profit organizations, raising over $500,000 to assist in the production of the Ohio Classic Football Game and Jamboree.
While in law school, Stanley served as the business editor for the Journal of Law and Health and published “Ohio’s ‘Aggressive’ Attack on Medical Identity Theft.” He participated in the National American College of Trial Lawyers and American Bar Association moot court competitions, and also served on Cleveland-Marshall’s Dean Search Committee.
Stanley continues his charitable and philanthropic work, serving on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Temple Complex Christian Assembly and the Friends of Ginn Academy.
Stanley is a member of the American, Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations, as well as the Cleveland-Marshall Law Alumni Association.
