Stephen S. Fabry

Stephen S. Fabry is a registered patent lawyer and concentrates his practice in the area of intellectual property with an emphasis on patent law.

Mr. Fabry concentrates his practice on transactional matters along with patent preparation and prosecution. Mr. Fabry negotiates and drafts merger, acquisition and divestiture agreements for clients along with handling the due diligence related to the assets transferred or acquired via these transactions. Mr. Fabry’s practice also includes the drafting of various other intellectual property agreements, including intellectual property licenses technology transfer and vendor agreements, joint development and frame contracts, software licenses, covenant not to sue agreements, beta testing agreements and non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements.Additionally, Mr. Fabry assists in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. patent applications and acquiring foreign patent rights directed to the mechanical and electrical arts. He also assists in counseling and preparing patentability and non-infringement opinions.

Mr. Fabry’s experience encompasses various technologies such as drive systems for industrial mixing equipment, laboratory centrifuge and refrigeration equipment, construction vehicles and industrial cooling equipment.

Prior to entering the field of law, Mr. Fabry worked in industry as a product development chemist for two years at Fuchs Lubricant Company.
