Tara Goff Kamradt

Tara Kamradt represents companies in a variety of industries in general corporate and transactional matters related to formation, growth, succession planning and preparation for sale or other liquidation events.

In the healthcare industry, her clients have included physician practices, dialysis companies, sleep centers, home health businesses and medical device manufacturers. She has significant experience in structuring joint venture relationships, medical director agreements, pharmaceutical and disposable supply contracts and other commercial arrangements with third parties.

Outside healthcare, Ms. Kamradt has much experience representing closely held businesses in all industries. She regularly provides counsel in corporate restructuring matters required to facilitate succession planning—from both an ownership and control standpoint—including shareholder, partnership and limited liability company agreements; consulting and employment agreements; and equity incentive arrangements. Her clients have included a number of large privately held companies and family owned businesses in various stages of maturity.

Ms. Kamradt is active in charitable and civic matters. She serves on the board of the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois and the Chicago Center for Family Health and has served for several years as a member of the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association (AHA) Chicago Heart Ball, among other roles with AHA. She is a founding member of the Chicago Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law Firms and an active member of the Women’s Auxiliary Board for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicago and Northwest Indiana. Ms. Kamradt also served as Co-Chair of the 2011 Class Committee for DirectWomen, a cooperative between Catalyst and the ABA Business Law Section established to identify and support qualified women attorneys to serve as directors on the boards of public companies.

Ms. Kamradt speaks frequently on matters related to her practice and on the retention and advancement of women in the legal profession. She is active in women’s issues generally through the Chicago Foundation for Women, National Association of Women Lawyers, the White House Project, Step-Up Women’s Network and others.
