Tara Chandler’s practice involves a variety of litigation matters in connection with Baker Hostetler’s role as counsel to the court-appointed trustee under SIPA in the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC.
During law school, Ms. Chandler served as an extern with the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of the United States Trustee for Region 9. She also served as Managing Editor of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law’s Journal of Law and Health and was Co-Editor-in-Chief of The Gavel, a law student newspaper. In addition, Ms. Chandler studied Chinese law at Peking University in Beijing, China.
Prior to joining Baker Hostetler, Ms. Chandler was a summer associate for another firm where she worked on a variety of litigation and creditors’ rights matters. She was also a paralegal for a firm for several years prior to attending law school.
Ms. Chandler is a member of the American, Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations, as well as the American Bankruptcy Institute and Delta Theta Pi law fraternity.
