Ted is an experienced trial lawyer who frequently appears in both federal and state court. His substantial courtroom experience runs the gamut from a six-month jury trial to a multimillion-dollar bench trial in which the judge permitted each side only ninety minutes to present its case.
Ted’s practice focuses on business-to-business litigation, including contract claims, construction disputes, tax controversies and business tort cases. Typically, his cases are factually and legally complex, high-stakes matters, where there is a premium on a tailored strategy, a detail-oriented approach and a willingness to proceed to trial.
Ted is named in the 2011 edition of the Best Lawyers in America in the area of commercial litigation. In addition, he has been honored by Law & Politics as an “Ohio Super Lawyer” (a listing of the top 5 percent of Ohio lawyers) in the area of business litigation. Ted also serves as a faculty member of NITA/University of Cincinnati Trial Skills Seminar.
Ted is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati, an organization that provides a source of legal representation, information, advice and references for people in need of legal assistance. He also is the former president of the Board of Trustees of ProKids, an organization that helps abused and neglected children.
