A team led by Houston partner Robert Shearer was recognized in a November 2, 2009 Texas Lawyer article, "New Deals: Quanta Services Acquires Price Gregory Services, Service Corp. to Acquire Keystone North America."
According to the article, Tana Pool, vice president and general counsel for Houston-based Quanta Services Inc., turned to attorneys at Baker Hostetler for assistance with her company's acquisition of Price Gregory Services Inc. for $350 million in cash and stock.
Shearer led the firm's team representing Quanta in the transaction. The team also included tax partner William Toomajian of Cleveland; antitrust partner Lee Simowitz of Washington, D.C.; employment benefits partner Georgeann Peters and management labor and employment law partner Mike Asensio, of Columbus, Ohio; and labor and employment partner Tonya Jacobs and associates Stephen Olson and Adam Law, of Houston.
