Timothy J. Eloe

Timothy J. Eloe is a partner in Baker Hostetler’s Business Group, where he focuses his practice in the areas of buyouts and recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, private equity/emerging companies, distressed buyouts, corporate finance and healthcare royalty investments. Much of his practice has focused on leveraged acquisitions and complex buyout transactions. Timothy has experience in a wide variety of these transactions ranging in size from several million dollars to $1 billion. In recent years, he has dedicated substantial time to advising clients in energy industry transactions and acquirers of financially distressed companies, both inside and outside of bankruptcy. Another active area of Timothy’s practice is his representation of sellers of family controlled businesses to both strategic and private equity acquirers in the middle market. Timothy also works with venture capital investors, small public companies and privately-held companies on financing transactions, commercial contract matters, executive compensation arrangements and corporate governance issues.
