Wendy Clary advises and represents private and public sector management clients in connection with employment and labor law matters. She has litigated issues related to discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, whistleblower, OSHA, intentional tort and defamation. She also has represented clients in connection with employment contracts and noncompete agreements and has advised clients regarding Ohio and federal employment law issues. She has handled individual and class action cases relating to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and has represented management clients in workers’ compensation matters before the Industrial Commission of Ohio, the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and all levels of Ohio Courts.
Ms. Clary has experience representing clients in most stages of litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Prior to joining Baker Hostetler, Ms. Clary worked for a nationwide labor and employment law firm where she defended lawsuits on behalf of management in the areas of employment litigation and traditional labor law.
Ms. Clary is a member of the American, Ohio State and Columbus Bar Associations.
