William R. Post is responsible for handling a variety of employment and labor matters. Mr. Post focuses his practice on representing management clients in all employee relations matters, including employment litigation, traditional labor and federal and state civil rights litigation.
Mr. Post has experience defending clients in discrimination cases involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, as well as their Ohio state law equivalents. In addition, Mr. Post has experience in defending clients against alleged violations of the Fair Housing Act and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Mr. Post regularly defends clients against charges of discrimination filed with the Ohio Civil Rights Commission and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He also advises clients with regard to reductions in force. In addition, Mr. Post has experience drafting employment contracts, separation agreements, general releases and waivers and employee handbooks.
Mr. Post is a member of the American, Ohio State and Columbus Bar Associations.
