As a member of the Digital Assets and Data Management team, Alyssa Daniels focuses on creating strong relationships with clients to prepare for and respond to data security incidents. Immediately following the discovery of a potential security incident, she works with clients to understand what happened and create a response strategy. She coordinates digital forensic investigations, determines breach notification obligations, builds an effective communication strategy designed to preserve relationships with important stakeholders and oversees implementation of restoration efforts. Alyssa has handled security incidents for clients that span a range of industries, including educational institutions, manufacturing companies and insurance agencies.

Select Experience

  • Member of team that litigated liability and damage estimation against Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) on behalf of 75,000 victims of the 2017 and 2018 California wildfires in connection with Baker’s representation of the Official Committee of Tort Claimants in PG&E’s historic bankruptcy, which resulted in a $13.5 billion settlement on behalf of wildfire victims.
