Select Experience

  • As lead counsel, advised clients on technology start-up ventures, handling all phases of intellectual property protection, trademark filings, funding strategies, confidentiality agreements and business plans.
  • Drafted and negotiated various intellectual property agreements – including confidentiality, licensing and joint development agreements – and prepared freedom to operate, validity and non-infringement opinions.
  • Supported the information technology and intellectual property components of numerous mergers and acquisitions transactions by preparing due diligence inquiries, reviewing and commenting on the relevant agreements and preparing guidance on key aspects.
  • Counseled clients regarding the negotiation, performance and audit of their information technology agreements.
  • Prepared and submitted formal filings with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
