Experienced in both U.S. and international patent law, Andrew Mickelsen advises clients on intellectual property (IP) matters, focusing on portfolio management and counseling. He has managed domestic and international patent portfolios for companies ranging from startups to multinational corporations and counseled companies on their intellectual property strategies.

Utilizing his strong educational background in technology,  Andrew prepares and prosecutes patent applications involving a range of technologies and platforms: computer software and hardware, electronic devices, data storage systems, Internet-based technology, mechanical devices, control systems and artificial intelligence/machine learning, among others.
