A team of BakerHostetler attorneys recently authored the United States chapter of the 9th edition of The Asset Tracing and Recovery Review, published by Law Business Research Ltd. The publication provides a practical overview of asset recovery rules and procedures across key jurisdictions worldwide, examining the primary processes and limitations for tracing fraudulently appropriated property, with due regard to the relevant legal rights and remedies, issues surrounding seizure and evidence rules. The 24-page U.S. chapter features sections devoted to Legal Rights and Remedies, Seizure and Evidence, Fraud in Specific Contexts, International Aspects and Current Developments. The authors included Oren Warshavsky, co-leader of the Global Fraud and International Asset Tracing and Recovery team; Gonzalo Zeballos, leader of the firm’s International Litigation team; and Partners Geoffrey North, Tatiana Markel and Michelle Usitalo.
