About Katherine Lowry’s background
Lowry is known for delivering transformational technology initiatives such as augmentation of legal services using AI and intelligent automation, increasing enterprise data maturity and data literacy, and developing smart legal contracts and the delivery of information and research services.
She currently serves as co-chair of the Emerging Technology team of BakerHostetler’s Digital Assets and Data Management Practice Group and leads the firm’s legal technology consulting and R&D team, IncuBaker, which is known for helping lawyers navigate the intersection of digital business, emerging technology and the law. This team serves corporate legal departments across every industry to support their digital transformation, privacy management and data initiatives.
Lowry is a recognized leader in the industry and was recently inducted as a fellow of the College of Law Practice Management. She has also earned many accolades, including being named an AI Visionary by Relativity, named to the Fastcase 50 List of Legal Innovators, and named an ACC Value Champion Finalist, as well as receiving a Thought Leader of the Year award from the International Legal Technology Association and an Innovation Leader of the Year award from PLLIP-SIS.
Lowry received her B.A. in political science from Stetson University and her J.D. from the University of Dayton.
