Overview

Bethany Lange works closely with clients to determine and oversee the execution of their legislative agendas at the state level. She plays an integral role in drafting clients' bills with Legislative Counsel and in identifying the best-suited sponsors to carry it.

A registered lobbyist, she serves as an advocate for her clients' bills in meetings with government officials, ultimately working to get their bill on the Governor's desk. Drawing from extensive experience working in government affairs, Bethany represents her clients' interests in an efficient, direct manner and assists them in achieving their goals.

Experience

  • On behalf of data center company, lobbied for the passing of legislation to obtain tax credits on their equipment. The passing of the bill subsequently led to millions of dollars of revenue entering Georgia due to increased corporate interest to invest in the state.
  • Bethany worked and provided strategic advice to BNPL (buy now, pay later) industry leader Affirm, Inc to build key legislative and regulatory relationships that helped Affirm expand its merchant network in Georgia and create new jobs while expanding access to honest and transparent no fees / no late fees access to sub 36% MLA (Military Lending Act) credit to millions of American consumers, especially in LMI communities.
