Overview

Beverly Lyman assists clients in the medical and life sciences industries, with particular interest in monetizing and facilitating the generation and use of intellectual property. She has worked with a variety of sophisticated clients, including universities and those in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical and medical device industries. A former faculty member at the medical campus of The University of Tennessee, Beverly possesses the insight necessary to act as a proactive advocate for university clients, understanding their needs and concerns. This background, combined with a particularly business-focused approach, allows her to efficiently and effectively assist all clients in reaching their intellectual property goals. 

Beverly has taught both biotechnology and chemical patent strategy for the Patent Resources Group (PRG). She also developed and taught Intellectual Property Licensing at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. As an academic, she has authored numerous scientific publications, including chapters in clinical texts and a biochemistry study guide.
