Heather Schisler engages in litigation for employers across a wide range of industries. Drawing on her diverse legal background, she provides strategic counsel and assists clients in preventing and resolving employment disputes while maintaining their business goals and objectives.
Heather honed her legal skills as a law clerk in the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas, where she managed civil dockets, prepared initial drafts of opinions and decisions and performed extensive research on outstanding criminal and civil matters. Later, as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office, she handled numerous trials and prosecuted hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases in Juvenile Court.
Prior to entering private practice, Heather served as the equal employment opportunity counsel and immigration attorney for a public transportation provider, where she managed all Equal Employment Opportunity matters, identified and communicated risks and developed training for multiple corporate offices.
Heather's combined experience gives her a holistic perspective of the judicial system that informs her guidance and recommendations to clients.
