​BakerHostetler’s roster of diverse attorneys with impressive experience and practice-area prowess was on full display Nov. 4, 2022, at the Second Annual CLE Connections Program, hosted by the Houston office Women’s Committee. More than 100 attendees from across 13 states logged on for the virtual event, which offered colleagues and clients insight on a range of topical issues, courtesy of six respected firm attorneys. They included Associate Melissa Hewitt presenting on “New Privacy Laws in the U.S.”; BakerHostetler alum Jennifer Costa on “Overview of SEC Proposed Rules”; Associate Jessica Lowery on “Overview of Ransomware and Current Trends”; Associate Erika Vela on “Overview of Vendor Management Programs and Contracts”; Partner Lana Muranovic on “Doing Business in Compliance with U.S. Sanctions”; and Partner Ashlee Grant on “Dobbs Debriefing – Issue Spotting for Employers in the Wake of the Dobbs’ Decision.”

After the webinar, attendees enjoyed a lively cocktail demonstration led by Houston mixologist Sean Beck, followed by virtual networking.
