Overview

Jason Grier focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, primarily practicing before federal district courts and administrative tribunals such as the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). He has nationwide experience litigating patent infringement cases, including cases in the U.S. District Courts for the Central District of California, the District of Delaware and the Eastern District of Texas. Jason's varied experience has included work with technologies such as medical devices, next-generation sequencing, digital PCR, electronics and software, and consumer products. He has also handled inter partes review proceedings before the PTAB, as well as trademark oppositions and cancellation proceedings before the TTAB.

Jason's IP practice benefits from his practical scientific background, which includes serving as in-house counsel for a start-up biotech company and work at Emory University in the lab of renowned antiviral researcher Dr. Raymond F. Schinazi, where he conducted research in the field of antiviral drug discovery.
