Joe Walsh represents companies in business disputes throughout the country. Well versed in all phases of litigation, Joe handles cases from pre-suit strategy through appellate briefing. His experience includes matters involving contract claims, business torts, public nuisances, securities fraud and government investigations.

Prior to joining BakerHostetler in 2021, Joe externed for a federal judge, interned with the U.S. Department of Justice and worked as a litigation associate in the Cleveland and Washington, D.C. offices of an international law firm.

  • Represented several Ohio organizations, as amici curiae, in an appeal before the Sixth Circuit regarding kinship care funding.
  • Defended city councilors sued for their votes to remove Confederate statues from downtown parks in Charlottesville, Virginia, resulting in a favorable grant of summary judgment.
  • Represented national non-profit organizations, as amici curiae, in case concerning a school’s ability to punish hate speech displayed on social media platforms.
