Overview

Joe Walsh is a business-minded litigator who represents clients from varied industries in complex commercial disputes. With an emphasis on intense effort and careful preparation, Joe works with clients and colleagues to resolve burgeoning disputes and to effectuate successful case strategies when litigation is the only option. He has handled cases from start to finish in state and federal courts and before domestic and international arbitration panels.

Joe’s practice is diverse, though he often brings and defends claims based on breach of contract, tortious interference, fraud, trade secret misappropriation, insurance coverage, public nuisances and various state and federal statutes regulating business conduct. Over the past several years, a significant portion of Joe’s practice has been devoted to clients in the manufacturing, railroad, automotive, aviation, and food and beverage industries. He is also regularly called on by private equity firms to assist with post-closing litigation.

Before moving to BakerHostetler in 2021, Joe worked as a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C. and Cleveland offices of an international law firm.
