Overview

Kendall Wangsgard focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, as well as white collar defense and corporate investigations related to federal criminal and regulatory investigations, securities regulations, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance. Specifically, Kendall performs extensive representation of corporate and institutional clients with respect to internal investigations, subpoena compliance and compliance reviews.

  • Works with the team representing the court-appointed Receiver of international investment advisor Michael Kenwood Group LLC in the investigation and recovery of investor funds' assets that were misappropriated from international hedge funds created and run by the Michael Kenwood Group. Assists with the recovery of illegally misappropriated investor assets and the management and liquidation of assets of the Receivership Estate, which includes investments in more than a dozen private equity enterprises.
  • Currently involved in representing Irving H. Picard, Securities Investor Protection Act Trustee for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC, in connection with BakerHostetler's role as court-appointed counsel.
