  • Assisted in the representation of an individual in an action concerning breach of a profit sharing agreement by a developer for failure to pay more than $3 million. The case involved the defendants' arguments that contractual documents provided for recovery of "profit guarantee" only if the development project generated "profits" over a certain amount, and the land was never developed. Prior to extensive discovery and based on legal arguments, secured final summary judgment in favor of the client for all damages plus award of attorneys' fees and costs.
  • Assisted with the representation of a small, private corporation against a large insurance company in a complex federal securities fraud case, related private arbitration, two appeals to the Eleventh Circuit and settlement.
  • Assisted in the representation of a sports entity in an action for breach of a license agreement against a closely held company. Drafted a summary judgment motion to pierce the corporate veil of the defendant, which resulted in expedited settlement.
  • Successfully handled a preliminary injunction for a local small business against former employees in a data breach case to prevent former employees from using or sharing confidential customer information.
