Kristin Kluding represents public and private companies and investment funds in connection with business, securities/capital markets, real estate, and environmental matters, notably in the energy sector. Her practice is characterized by purposeful risk management, and a prioritized approach to protecting and strengthening business and financial health and reputation. Kristin has extensive oil and gas industry knowledge, which she draws upon when assisting clients with matters involving their mineral interests and strategic operations. She also has considerable experience assisting and advising clients in connection with securities offerings, corporate governance, and regulatory/compliance matters, including Exchange Act reporting.
Kristin has written and spoken on the topic of Venezuela’s state-owned oil companies in connection with the government’s nationalization of the country’s oil and extraction industries, winning the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators’ student writing competition and presenting at the 2019 AIPN International Petroleum Scholar Workshop.
